The following software updates will be covered in this post (click on an item in the list to go straight to that section):
- Relocation of building access editor
- Transportation request responses
- Setting resources as locations for equipment and maintenance requests
Relocation of Building Access Editor:
Do you need to update a user's building access? We've relocated the building access selection to the user editor page. Here's how to find it:
Step 1: Click Users in the left sidebar. Then, click the gavel icon across from the user's name to open the user editor page.
Step 2: Select which building(s) this user should have access to and click save at the bottom of the page.
Hint: Hold down the Control key or the Command key (if you're using a Mac) while clicking to select multiple buildings.
Transportation Request Responses:
You can now leave a response regarding a transportation request. Check it out:
Step 1: Click on the transportation request in the calendar and then click Respond.
Step 2: Enter your response and then click Save. Your response will be saved with the request history and users involved with the request will be notified about your response.
Setting Resources as Locations for Equipment and Maintenance Requests:
Step 2: On the resource editor page, check the "Can be location" box to indicate that the resource can be a location and click Save at the bottom of the page.
Selecting a resource as a location for equipment: On the add equipment page, or the equipment editor page, select the resource where the equipment item is located from the Location drop down list. In order to do this, you must have a building selected as well as a resource within that building that can be set as a location.
Selecting a resource as a location for maintenance requests: When submitting a maintenance request, select the resource where the maintenance issue is located from the Location drop down list. In order to do this, you must have a building selected as well as a resource within that building that can be set as a location.
